Rings And Challenge Coins For Special Forces

 Although it doesn't go back as long as the Special Forces rings, the history of the Special Forces challenge coin is still pretty fascinating. The United States Military Academy's 1835 graduating class received the first military rings. Since then, the military ring has grown in significance as a tangible symbol of the service and sacrifice made by soldiers, Marines, sailors, and airmen. Challenge Coins Custom are a bit unique. The first challenge coin, according to legend, debuted in the 1940s. The 10th Special Forces Group experienced such an influx of different nationalities when the Lodge Act made it possible for non-citizens to enlist in the Army that a coin was created to serve as proof that many of these troops who didn't speak English were in fact a part of the 10th SFG.
